I also have a right to express how terrible that is. I mean, what? I get that he’s a fictional character and I shouldn’t feel so much anger towards the pure injustice he’s been given, but the guy was lied to by the angels and used to get to his half-brother, whom he didn’t strictly-speaking feel is all that important, because he was doing everything he’d been tricked to do just to see his mother again.

He let an angel take over his body. It may have looked like Adam was trapped and was forced into submission, but angels have to have consent (then again, Micheal could’ve tortured him until he said yes, we’re not all that clear about the moral compass of some Archangels), and he let him in. To save the world and end this disaster and to see his mom. Which he never got to do. Because Micheal grabbed onto Sam at the last second and got the both of them thrown into the cage.

And then he hardly gets a mention by the Winchesters. Frankly, I was outraged that Dean didn’t even think about it when Death asked him to choose between him and Sam. I get it, you love your brother and that’s great, but a little goddamn guilt would be fucking nice. Spin it however you want, it’s Dean and Sam’s fault that Adam had to be brought into that mess and that he had to (has to) suffer in the cage for eternity. Or at least until the writers give his everlasting and undeserved punishment a minute of thought. They can base a fucking season on this Leviathan travesty, but they can’t pull this innocent boy out of Hell? And, anon, how you can even stand to not care about this complete and utter lapse of judgement from the writers just astounds me. 

But anyway, yeah, your opinion.

I have to agree with all the comments above. I love Supernatural with a passion but Adam’s fate has always been a sore spot for me. And it feels wrong that Sam and Dean have never had a moment’s regret for what has happened to their half brother. I mean, I get that they didn’t know him, but he’s family. And this show, above all else, is about family.

I would love to see at least a few moments of thought given to this kid, who did nothing but love his mom - the only family that he really knew. I think Adam’s storyline is the one spot that the writers have completely dropped the ball. I really hope that they do eventually address this.
